Oaks House was another house designed by Stephenson and Bell. James Stone Masonry Ltd again fixed Jura limestone panels to form another stunning house. The finish on the limestone panels was sandblasted and the cills finished with a very high degree of polish. The limestone panels sat on a band of black granite which in turn ran around the base of the house. The degree of accuracy in the fixing of the limestone panels had to be extremely high, to give an overall stunning effect.
